Summer Camp in Prescott

The majority of Camp Swift campers come from areas where crime and gang activity prevent them from using their imaginations to explore and play outside freely. The activities and themes introduced to the children during these 5 days help develop and sustain an enriching, healthy lifestyle, through:

• Sportsmanship
• Teamwork
• 3 balanced meals per day
• Swimming
• Rock wall climbing
• Ropes Course
• Hiking
• Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, GAGA
• Canoeing
• Science
• Art
• Values & personal enrichment “Character Counts” Program

All led by high school students who act as role models for making positive choices – there is a 3:1 camper to counselor ratio, meaning that each child receives extensive individual attention and opportunities to bond with these positive role models.

"My first year, all of the 'tough' boys cried when they had to leave.  This experience opened my eyes, and it showed me that peace, love and happiness is the way to go."

- Blaine, teen counselor
